RefriApp attended a case study about refrigerant gases in The Eraiken Center from Vitoria

The Construction and Energy Efficiency Eraiken Center in Vitoria lead a pioneering project in Spain in order to compare the performance of 10 types of refrigerant gases that are used in industrial, commercial and automotive sectors.

Eraiken informed of this initiative that will take place over the next year, which will begin next Monday, October 5 with making cameras and testing laboratories.

The main goal is to analyze the performance of ten types of refrigerant gases, among which are the new environmentally friendly refrigerants, intended to replace those currently used in industry, commerce or in vehicles.

As reported by the Integrated Training Center, the launch of the project was agreed yesterday during a conference that met in Vitoria to major Spanish HVAC producers and installers, which agreed on the types of gases, methodology and protocols to be followed in this case study testing.

All processes will be monitored and the results, partial and final, will be analyzed by the participating entities, which will share the conclusions with the companies.

Whe the case study finishes, the results will be published in the technical journal of the National Confederation of Installers, CNI, distributed 10,000 Spanish companies in the cooling sector.

Besides the CNI, leading global distributors of refrigeration components (Danfoss and Pecomark), manufacturers of refrigerant gases (Chemours, Honeywell), distributors (Gas Servei, Gastenor, Friogas, Air Products and Eurocardis), and refrigeration and metrology companies (Frinsa and RefriApp) will participate in this project.

Cleaning a VRV Hitachi system in Madrid

Cleaning a VRV Hitachi system in Madrid
